Ok guys, i think i may have made a minor fuck up
I accidentally told my new doctors office that i was taking Modafinil, and said it was a prescription from the current doctor even though i got it online.
How bad did I fuck up and how can I get out of this without it sounding too suspicious?
Did I fuck up?

Say a nice African-American doctor prescibed it to you at a basketball court.

The only thing it really does is keep you awake for 10 to 12 hours straight. Won't get tired at all. It doesn't get you wired or anything like that.
they arent going to care.
if you tell them that you're switching to them, because whatever reason e.g. you moved and your old doctor is too far away, they may give you a real prescription for it.

It's not speed you retard
This. It is not a controlled substance.
It improves cognitive functioning, allegedly. Tons of college nerds take it illicitly.
Checked. It never did that for me, it just makes it impossible to fall asleep for a while. I maintain a prescription in case I ever have to work odd hours or drive through the night. Insurance covers it. It's like $0.93 for a whole bottle.
It definitely is a controlled substance retard
I sit corrected, it is technically controlled.
Did they pull your chart from your old doctor? If they haven't, they will, and they will know there's no script for it. You'll probably just get advice on quitting or referred to rehab if you're bad about it.
You can tell your doc everything. He can’t do jack shit. You can say nigs tongue your anus and nothing she can do.
Can you not normally stay awake for 10-12 hours? Fucking NEETs. Drink some water, eat protein and exercise/lift something.
this, doctor-patient anonymity or whatever it's called.
Only thing that might happen is a note in your medical record for drug abuse. It's not permanent, and it doesn't leave your medical file (they're not gonna call your employer or the police on you). Depending on the system your provider uses, you can remove the note yourself or just say you've stopped taking it and get the note removed that way.
tl;dr - Legally you're fine. They just may be less likely to prescribe you drugs that can be abused.
Even then, doctors charts are incomplete all the time and they know that. I lied and said I had a free sample of a controlled substance and when they told me that isn’t possible I told them to call my doctor and ask if I got the medication name wrong. My doctor is retired and won’t pick up lol
