I feel like the style is more insidious than just being 'diverse' or easy to make or whatever. Looking at it too long almost causes my analytical brain to turn off, like white noise or something. It's the visual equivalent of those 'dangerous to our democracy' or 'here's why that's a good thing' headlines that just make me focus on something/anything else. Allegria or whatever is something else that I can't put my finger on.

Yeah, knowing it's not good is a start, but I'm trying to figure out why. COVID was obviously a control/divide/corporate bailout plan and a step towards authoritarianism. Allegria is like a style that shuts down critical thinking. It's not offensive to do anything but promote acceptance or deference. I've tried to mention something about the art style to people I consider smart IRL and they legit denied that it was even a style or art at all. Which I do get, but at the same time it absolutely does have a specific visual language. Allegria seems absolutely engineered, or at the least cultivated, for a purpose.
