As you might know, there was a recent incident at Purdue University that Purdue University Police Department responded to where a black man was filmed in a struggle with said officer after resisting arrest.
What this officer did not know at the time is that his life almost ended that night in the snow. In the video, you can clearly see Adonis Tuggle reaching for the officers gun and struggle to remove it from its holster unbeknownst to the officer.
This all happened on a SCHOOL property and this criminal should never be allowed back on school property again and should be charged accordingly for trying to disarm (and one can imagine) then use it on the officer.
Boilermaker Nation has no place for violent criminals like this and we have ZERO tolerance for this type of behavior. Please do what you can to make sure the officer and the department are aware of this and train their officers better to protect themselves against another attack like this in the future. Officer Selke got lucky this time.
