In Azerbaijan, a veteran of the Artsakh war committed self-arson

Azerbaijani veteran Gasanov Serdar Rustanoglu set fire to himself before the eyes of the executive power of the Goranboy region. This was reported by Azadliq newspaper on its Facebook page.

Now he is in intensive care at the Goranboy hospital. His condition is assessed as critical.

After the war in Artsakh, Azerbaijani veterans are extremely dissatisfied with the attitude of the authorities towards their “liberators”. Several cases of suicide among veterans are known. Others complain about social conditions, lack of pensions, loss of disability benefits or degree of disability.
