Anyways, it will be a socialism with the characteristics of the place that brings it up - for instance, Soviet state capitalism was what was needed at the time and it transformed the soviet union into a world superpower in a 20 year span. Socialism with Chinese Characteristics is rapidly advancing China as a nation past capitalism itself and China is poised to dethrone America from its perch as world hegemon. Similarly Socialism with American characteristics will be something entirely new, something based on the needs, desires and situation of the American people. An entirely new system, one we can't predict without going into speculative territory.

* When the disparity of wealth, capital, and income between the top handful and everyone else get so great that the wealthy stop caring about profit or accumulated wealth, and instead focus on power and societal control to the determent of human rights, they need to be culled from the population in a horrible bloodbath that completely strikes the elite and their entire families from any future lest they repeat their mistakes.
* After this horror, which could be socialist or take the form of a French revolution, a further revolt must take place to reset capitalism, until it requires another reset.
* Capitalism is the best system for standard of living, but the eventual complete dominance of the few over the many, and resulting financial enslavement must be occasionally reset.
* People pushing socialism are really just interested in the bloodbath but they don't want to feel bad about their lack of achievements necessitating brutal upheaval.
