The massive freedom convoy trucker protests all over Canada have started to force politicians to begin ending their authoritarian Covid restrictions. That’s a victory.
But there’s also an interesting subtext. Canadians know, and hopefully the world recognizes, that ALL Canadian mainstream news coverage has been grossly deceptive. They’ve called the truckers all the usual names that leftists use: racists, homophobes, terrorists, Nazis… none of this is true, of course, the protestors are patriots and extremely well behaved.
Here’s the thing. Due to the coverage bias, lots of NPCs actually believe Ottawa is under siege by Nazis. And now the government is capitulating to them. How is that going to play?

Stay vigilant, but it’s a good sign. The reopening are coming from provincial governments, which means they have been feeling the pressure. Trudeau is digging in his heals (he’s also the one buying the vaccine), but this shows that he’s losing support.
Polls just came out showing that over 33% of Canadians support or strongly support the truckers. That’s over 9 million Canadians, and more than support any of Canada’s big tent parties. That is significant.
If the Truckers were a political party, those numbers would give them a majority government.

Here's the long con: Food shortages are going to start hitting hard this summer, and they'll use the truckers protesting as the reason why nobody can feed their families. Fertilizer prices skyrocketed last year because of the shutdown,along with a push for "greener" policies ironically enough. This caused farmers to purchase less or switch over to another crop, mainly edamane beans, but the majority of other farmers had the same idea. May be why US is doing the same as there was rumbling of a LA to DC convoy. >33% of Canadians supporting the truckers, you can bet the real number is much higher. Manipulating the results is beyond simple, anyone who has seen a Twitter or YouTube poll can see it in action. It's a bit funny though because you see a left-wing poll and they'll display 20-30% support, but right-wing polls are typically 90%+ support. When you aggregate this, I'd expect total number that support is probably somewhere around 60% and this is despite the media, YouTube and Twitterati bold faced lying about the protest.
