The problem people have with the truckers is the association the media has made between them and white supremacy. The negative media coverage of the truckers has been unnatural. The trucker's method of protest is annoying only to the people in Ottawa.
But it's tough. Most Canadians are ready to end restrictions and return to normal while the government/media vilifies people asking for just that. People are having to deal with cognitive dissonance and begrudgingly stand against the truckers despite wanting an end to restrictions.
Furthermore, Trudeau and provincial governments are actively hiding case counts and vaccination/hospitalization data. It's disgusting manipulation of the populace.
If we had a remotely viable alternative the Liberals would be out.
