Well OP back in 2014 the Russians literally walked in to one of Ukraine's most important areas and not only did the Ukrainians not fire a shot they surrendered most of their military equipment in the area and simply left. Sure they might have 250K soldiers, that doesn't matter because nobody in their right mind would fight for that government, for any western affiliated government at this point. You want to know the state of their army? Look at all the PR materials for it in western media, women and old men in all the photos, just like Afghanistan.
