The US would beat anyone when it comes to hypersonic because the US has so many allies. The US can put radars at Japan, South Korea, Hawaii, Australia, all of Europe... what can China do? Where they going to put radars? If the US launched a hypersonic missile China wouldn't detect it but the US would detect when China fired.

Assuming technology that could invalidate the MAD principle was invented. I see no way we could go toe to toe with china in any form. The u.s. has never been a great fighting force we've always relied on natural barriers, and tech advantage, but china will outpace us in tech very quickly they have far more engineers, and scientists.
