We got too cockey
Ukraine bros!
2 more weeks?
>Russians invading other Russians.
Ok.
Someone explain to me why does Putin wants to bad to invade Ukraine? What is his end goal?
To regain the pre-WW1 Russian borders before he dies
Kick antichrist and do jihad
he wants to reconstitute the USSR basically.. he is already kinda there with making Russia a kleptocratic authoritarian state. Now he just needs to add back a few more ex-soviet countries that want nothing to do with Russa. Putin is deranged and might actually need mental help.
Is it because of Ukraine being now part of NATO, allows USA to be so close to their borders?
It's basically a gigantic game of chicken.
He's saying to the west "lol bet you'll flinch bro" and if they do he knows that he can keep expanding his influence.
It's a really risky gamble though, because right now the west is mostly "lol no we won't" and Putin is now only left with the choice of invading (which he didn't want to do at all initially). Because if he retreats, his entire country will clown on him.
Hmmm, I don't think he wants to invade just to prove a point. For the interviews I see him speaking, it does not sound like the lunatic people paint him.
Who cares, it's really none of our business, the only people benefitting from NATO getting involved is kikes. Oh I'm sure defense contractor lobbyists are going in hard on our politicians with fear mongering tactics to get NATO involved so they can line their pockets. War is for profit now, no one gives a shit about Ukraine or has any other solid reason than "muh Russian collusion" narrative tier propaganda
No, it's just he wants it to be his legacy that he rebuilt the greatness of the Russian Empire, he may even make himself Tsar to cap it off who knows
>14 days
>literally 2 more weeks
ahahahah
>just to prove a point.
It's not just to prove a point, the game of chicken has a prize, that's what I meant.
In the best case scenario the prize is the west giving into his demands. This however is like fairytale tier. A good scenario would also be just more sanctions and he gets to keep east Ukraine. That's probably what he's currently aiming for.
Because he's not, I'm not Russia cheerleader either, I'm an isolationist and not European. It's just not my problem nor any American
I have seen him telling a point, which seem valid to me, he said something like this: "If we put missiles within the Canada & Mexico, close to USA borders, would you think USA would approve it? So why would I approve it when they are doing the same thing, through NATO, in Ukraine, etc?"
Is this a legit concern?
No, that's just posturing. NATO is literally only relevant because Putin keeps sperging out. Which is of course highly ironic but also highly convenient to him: he can keep sperging out and also automatically gets to sell a fairly legitimate Boogeyman to his population
Russia is our eternal enemy and must someday be destroyed at all costs. All red-blooded Americans believe this.
Well, shit is...if he in fact invades Ukraine, and since Ukraine is part of the NATO, which includes USA, war it is?
True, but thats just propaganda. The problem is that USA propaganda reaches all the world. To most of the people around the world, USA is the good guy and Russia the bad. Not saying that, sometimes, it's not the case, but I always like to see both sides of the coin.
>Ukraine is part of the NATO
It isn't, that's why Le ebin NATO Russian meme is especially hilarious.
Oh, you're absolutely right, they are not part of NATO, I really thought they were, but it seems their entry has been denied over the years due to several problems like corruption, lack of control over their international borders, etc.
>To regain the pre-WW1 Russian borders before he dies
A bit ambitious I think, Finland, the Baltics and congress Poland are not coming back without WW3. Agree with the general idea though, Putin is aging and thinking about his legacy. He wants Russia, Belarus and Ukraine (in some form) in a official Union before he dies. Possibly even Kazakhstan.
>Putin is aging and thinking about his legacy
Lmfao no he's not kek. It's pure survival. The country is in decline, and shirt like this keeps it afloat through distractions. The second Putin is ACTUALLY gone from the throne he's a dead or at the very least jailed man, and he knows it. There is no retiring or "muh legacy" like in Democratic countries with Merkel for example
>Democratic countries
I don't think you get it bud
And just how do we know that this isn’t a false flag designed to pull the US into a war?
After all, the department of state fully confirmed the existence of false flag operations and crisis actors. The US government has been involved in at least three, namely the Gulf of Tonkin, the USS Liberty, and Iraq’s WMD’s. That does not include many alleged or unconfirmed false flag operations.
Yawn.
>Russian leaders have ever left power while still alive
He definitely cares, he is a student of history and wants to be remembered well.
>And just how do we know that this isn’t a false flag designed to pull the US into a war?
The literal thousands of troops amassed at the Ukrainian border may be an indication
Or are you an civ-npc level retard who accepts "just passing through" as a legitimate excuse?
NATO started expanding into Eastern Europe way before Putin thou. This isn't about NATO being the "good guy", this is a power struggle over the former USSR states and it's pretty blatantly obvious. Communism was the mother of all bad ideas and I'm glad it failed but how do you expect to have fair negotiations with Russia after you set up shop all over their borders and threaten them with artillery fire? It's hilarious how this whole thing could have been avoided if NATO stuck to their corner of the world and Russia to their's.
