Most furries are subconsciously stuck in childhood in their minds and want to revert back to a simple and "safe time" like when life revolved around anthropomorphic animal cartoons. They had their personality development years warped into focusing on childish things and never turned outward into adult stuff so they dwell in this weird internal limbo of filtering adult concepts and thoughts through the lens of the cartoon world that became an escape for them during their, usually, troubled or lonely childhood. It is sad and they need help and therapy, not to encouraged to act out weird fantasies like giant kids.

The older "suspiciously wealthy" ones that came up int he eighties used to be pretty normal and have normal lives now. The ones that have come up in recent years have been using furry all inclusiveness as a smokescreen for, in best cases, sick fetish shit, and in worst case, actual illegal activity.
