What happens if you sabotage a countries fertilizer supply? Exactly, its crops will go to shit if they dont import any. It affects the market prices of food and even creates food shortages. It doesnt have to be an extreme increase. Just enough to piss off the population of a country.
I think there is this underlying war already going on for several years. and we are in the endgame. You can see this by how the loosing party slowly shows a higher level of agression (russia planning to invade ukraine), china threatening Taiwan etc....
Tbh I believe Russias and Chinas plan was to destabilize the US internally enough so it completely delves into a civil war(capitol storm, blm protests), incapable of supporting its NATO allies. China and russia know this. The EU and other NATO allies are overreliant on the US military. If the US is paralyzed, Russia and china and Iran, aswell as northkorea can actually do their shit. and do some landgrabbing until the US is back online.
