Norway releases foxes on Finnish border

Naal (white furred fox) is extremely threatened small predatory mammal. There are not many of them left. Now Norway had succesfully bred 25 of them in a captivity. They release the animals on Finnish border in Lapland.

These foxes don't like to leave mountainous area. In Finland there are some quite tall hills everywhere in northernmost Lapland but real mountains are in Norway. There are about as many of them in Norway as there is in Finland. In Norway they are eating native Norwegian mountain birds which do not live in Finland. Norwegians do not like this fact.

Even if this fox is vulnerable, it is not bad at breeding. It has 12-18 pups at a time. It's just the fact that most of the animals die within 2 years due to not finding anything to eat in their frozen environment.

Their fur is great for extreme weather, cold will not kill them. Heat will. Most of these foxes were hunted down to near extinction on the year 1900 when Swedes, Norwegians and Finns all hunted them for their fur to create winter coats.

foxes are related to dogs not cats

voihan gettu xddd

this is true, dog/wolf is their closest relative

Saw a fox rescue vid earlier tonight when they let them out they didn't know how to use their legs. Humans are fucking scum man.

dogs are a de-evolution of wolves that happened because some wolves started to depend on Humanoids too much...this is why that if Humans disappeared the dogs with disappear too because they couldn't compete in Nature without Humans.

Cool story bro

Sorry bro.
In terms of animal diversity and repopulation policies we have done wrong several times over. Our animal ecosystem is threatened in many local habitats. Will be felt on the quality and quantity of fish and wildlife meat. Bugs next

?? You can get Arctic foxes here for a few hundred bucks all day long.

I would pay good money to hunt the down with BB shot

That's cute. I hope they thrive. :)
If you don't think this is cute, you're a nigger, niggers hate cute things like artic foxes.

*arctic

based

>Bugs next
Yes take care of bugs, they're important for ecosystems
