Go to a library and learn all of it: gardening, solar panels, beekeeping etc. it's for sure doable if you're willing to learn but you're also gonna need some jewcoins to buy starting gear

Alaska. Finding the right plot of land to buy can be a pain in the ass. This old boy had slag fall in his eye and almost lost his eyesight, quit his job the next week and lived in an isolated area. You have to be independent, iron willed and not need the devils luxuries of modern man. Don't bring a woman with you. Bring dogs if you can afford to feed them. Trapping and woodworking are top skills out here. You could buy 20 acres right now out of town and do this. Cut your own logs and what not. While living like a bushman might not sound appealing, I am renting an apartment and drive out to my land on weekends to work. It will take time but there is not better peace then seeing fruit from my labor listening to nothing but water running and birds. I hate society

Here is how I do it. I've been throwing some money into crypto and stonks since 2020 and on. As of now, I have about 50k Euros of assets after taxes. I expect this to go to six figures relatively soon, hopefully before the total collapse of the financial system or society altogether. With this money I will aquire a simple house and some land in rural Transylvania, possibly Carpathians, the price for this is at around 40k. I have recruited two friends who are also very interested in going there or at least owning a place for emergencies. A 4x4 is necessary. I or we will aim for semi self-sufficiency through farming, crypto trading, hosting guests and the trades we have to offer, and keeping our expenses at a minimum. If there is a church in the village or around, we shall volunteer for any help.

You save up money, buy land, build cabin, and then start living as cheap as humanly possible. You still have to pay taxes though so you need a tiny amount of income for property taxes and some other shit but you can probably make enough money for that by just working a few weeks each year.

If you need any book about homesteading it's this. The Encyclopedia of Country Living by Carla Emery. She worked on this book for 40 years, it will tell you EVERYTHING that you need to know about living off grid. It's an amazing read and a plethora of knowledge.

>buy land and build (or pay someone to build) a house
>purchase (or build) a machine capable of producing electricity by burning wood, oil or another fuel
