LAPD says this same group of four individuals are responsible for robbing and beating at least 6 other individuals in the Fairfax and South LA areas. Most of their victims are Latina girls. The suspects are described as 2 male blacks, and 2 female blacks.

Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Wilshire Division are asking for the public’s help in locating the suspects responsible for a robbery. Detectives have recovered surveillance video which captured this incident in detail.
On Wednesday, February 2, 2022, around 7:20 a.m., officers responded to a radio call of robbery suspects just left, on the 7600 block of Melrose Avenue. The two female victims were walking to school when they were approached from behind by two suspects. The suspects struck them and pulled them to the ground by their hair. The suspects demanded that they hand over their cellphones, then held them by their hair until they unlocked the access codes to the phones.
Fearing for their safety, the victims complied and allowed the suspects to take their cellphones.
The two suspects proceeded to run into a waiting vehicle, where Suspect-3 and Suspect-4 were
keeping a lookout. The four suspects fled in the vehicle southbound from the location
The suspect vehicle appears to be a black sedan with tinted windows.
Suspect-1 is described as a female, Black, 18 years of age. Suspect-1 was wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Suspect-2 was described as a female, Black.
Suspect -3 and 4 are described as male Blacks.
It is requested that any individuals who may have observed or have information regarding this incident please contact Wilshire Robbery Detective M. Flores, Serial No.38629.
