Why won’t millennials just build their own houses like the old times instead of whining all the time?

Land is even more expensive, and now if you want to build a house, you have to abide by a million rules and regulations and hire a bunch of specialists. You can't just go at it with some 2x4s and a hammer.
GO BACK
Just steal it, its the kosher way.
>parents buy house
>out of city
>city smaller back then
>area gets built up more and more
>now they're like second CBD near their home with shops/schools
>no one gives a shit about the home, it's the location
>omg why can't i buy a penthouse apartment right in the middle of the city?!
In my town i can buy a nice place for 500k-millions on the hillside, or i can go further out of town and pay 330k for a brand new home and drive 20min more
Land is expensive thanks to Blackrock.
Building material is expensive. Thanks to Jews
Piping, electric, water. ALL EXPENSIVE TO PUT IN. Thanks to the kikes.
YOU VILL OWN NOTHING AND BE HAPPY in 8 years.
GenX was in the same boat. Over the past 100 years...Boomers had it good and nobody else.
$200,000 in 1992 was a fucking fortune.
False premise, the house would cost 400k after inflation and the millenial would still complain. Also in the 90s you had to put 20% down on a house. Would the millenial be happy coming up with 200k to buy the 400k house his parents did? No.
We're also importing more and more third worlders who are breeding like rabbits.
Land gets cheaper when demand drops.
Wars, plagues, famines, etc.
Just saying. Now that Sub-Saharan Africa is moving North. There will be a hefty destruction of human life in the cards.
Don't worry goy, biden is about to make all americans into millionares.
Same here
I was looking in the city; 2 bedroom 1.5 mill
I looked outside the city; 800K 7 bedroom 5 bath mansion
I am a king now
REEEEEE I MAKE MORE THAN THEM I DESERVE TO ONE UP THEM REEEEEE
Because capitalism has evolved and cost to "DIY" anything has been already calculated at around the same price as buying a pre-built package.
I did build my own house actually. Yes, you are all pussies. My ancestors are smiling upon me.
Even when adjusted for inflation, something is seriously wrong.
Also, where the fuck was their house? I bought in 2000 for like $95k and it's only up to $300k as market value.
Most areas make it impossible to build new homes with their zoning and building laws.
Hell, many places now ban building new single family homes to protect the jewish investments into them.
25 years ago my dad bought a house for 30K. Same house is now "worth" 650K. Infrastructure hasn't terribly changed much. But totally normal. Keep printing and giving the state more power to manage your lifes. Boomers will be remembered as the drag of society, the economically most retarded generation that ever walked the earth
>we can just use predicted population growth to take public debt
>I wont have children
>Others children will pay our debt, lol
>$200,000 in 1992 was a fucking fortune.
OP says $200k like that was a deal back then for regular people. My parents bought their old house on 15 acres for $50,000 in like 1989. That’s all they could afford on a blue collar salary.
Same shit for me, my parents built their current house for about $250k in the late 90's, they're looking to sell it for almost $600k this year and this is in one of the lowest cost of living areas in the country. Absolute fucking bullshit. Also my dad made the equivalent of my current salary when he was fresh out of college and I'm seven years out of college.
How much? I'll bet it was a crapload more expensive than $7314
lol yeah sure a 30k house 25 years ago
