25 years ago my dad bought a house for 30K. Same house is now "worth" 650K. Infrastructure hasn't terribly changed much. But totally normal. Same shit for me, my parents built their current house for about $250k in the late 90's, they're looking to sell it for almost $600k this year and this is in one of the lowest cost of living areas in the country. Absolute fucking bullshit. Also my dad made the equivalent of my current salary when he was fresh out of college and I'm seven years out of college.
