The world was a better place when the family was central to its functioning.

This is obvious to anyone who can be honest with themself.
And yes, thinking that both sexes can be as powerful in society as each other is just silly. Each has their own special qualities that the other does not. They are meant to be a team, not individuals vying for a myriad of different types of supremacy.

Start by becoming more social with everyone.
Being good with women is the same as being good with people. Say something to at least 3-4 random people a day. Weather, time, wish a cashier an extra good day. Anything that will prove to you that talking to strangers is not dangerous.

Then slowly start approaching girls.

I remember the first two weeks I went out, every girl had a boyfriend or was a lesbian. After two weeks, ive never met a lesbian or a girl with a boyfriend ever again. Funny how that works as you get better ;)
