The behavior of those electrons dictates their nomenclature. A soliton is usually defined as EM that lacks the property of frequency. Instead of the electrons oscillating back and forth, hinging on a central point as they move forward, a soliton wave looks more like a tsunami.
The difference, according to MY theory at the particle level is in axis spin. Every electron has spin on its own axis. With solitons, the spin never slows down. There is a spin direction (polarity) but no frequency property.
In normal EM, I believe that axis spin comes to a halt briefly each time the electron reaches a "peak" and touches the top of the waveform. This halting is what makes resonance possible because for that instant, it loses magnetic moment.
The spin speed varies and is maximized at the center-point of the swing. In standard EM, the spin direction is always counter-magnusian EXCEPT in the case of positrons. The fact that the electrons are spinning on their own axis in the same direction (thus Magnusian) as the undulatory movement is the real difference between an electron and a positron other than electrical charge.

Migraines are actually caused by ectopically deposited neural tissue in the upper spinal column and intermittent electrical discharges from those tissues which travel up the spine and are interpreted as pain, overwhelming sense perceptions particularly of a visual nature.
