Karl Marx on private property. See how right-wingers pull the single "Abolish private property" line out of context and try to make you think that communists want to come and steal your home, and abolish your right to own anything? When in reality, the line they're quoting is deliberately pulled from a context in which he explains, explicitly, that it's only bourgeois property that needs abolishing? And not the property of ordinary people? And of course if you read the entire thing you'd see the entire point of communism was in fact to protect the property rights of ordinary people.
See how the right-wing lies to you about communism? You should all try to wake up and no longer allow yourselves to be manipulated
Why are communists so hell-bent on following right-wing strawmen arguments then?
Liam Evans
So if I find a fallen tree and make a table out of it, im I able to sell it or does someone else own my labor and property?
Jacob Baker
GAY
Benjamin Sanders
Private property != personal property.
Leo Reed
The single line isn't out of context if Marx himself contextualize the line by saying OUR THEORY CAN BE SUMMED UP IN ONE LINE:
Zachary Howard
Under capitalism someone else would own the labor and property. Under communism it would be yours
Gabriel Sullivan
It says "in this sense" literally referencing the paragraph about it, idiot
Evan Campbell
>about it above* it
Caleb Ward
So based on what you're saying, if I find a fallen tree on someone else's land I can demand someone make a tree out of it and I own both the tree as well as the labor used to craft said tree into an item?
Michael Morales
>we'll only abolish the BAD private property, trust us Only Lincolnian homestead libertarianism works
Charles Harris
Fuck off dickhead. I will own many possessions and I will be unhappy if you're still alive.
Camden Barnes
No. Why would you try this hard to be deliberately retarded? Did you honestly think by deliberately pretending to be retarded you were gonna make a good point and make yourself seem smart?
Xavier Mitchell
Youll own what they give you... sucks though. My aunt used to wipe her ass with toilet paper when studying russian in moscow
Christopher Carter
Well based on what you said, someone would own the property and someone would own the labor. Do you deny that?
Henry Hughes
What are you trying to accomplish here by being deliberately retarded, retard?
Logan Brown
Intresting that you go straight to name calling instead of attempting to answer the question. Does your argument have no merit?
Joseph Richardson
agreed, marx was a retarded jew that didn't understand base human motivations: people like to own nice things and like to enjoy nice things. Neither of which are possible under a communal ownership scheme where brain surgeons are paid the same as jizz moppers. the only people this appeals to these days are idiots that fail to realize it has failed every fucking time it was implemented (n-n-not real communism!!!) or completely useless directionless faggots that accomplish nothing in life and demand government give them free shit at the expense of productive citizens. Basically niggers.
Can I trade products of my labor for products of someone elses?
Ethan Kelly
>communists want to come and steal your home
soviets literally went to peoples homes and threatened them at gun point to take additional families into their homes, if the owners were allowed to stay at all just a rumor that you had valuables or food stashed could get you executed on the spot
>See how right-wingers pull the single "Abolish private property" line out of context and try to make you think that communists want to come and steal your home, and abolish your right to own anything? stalin and mao were "right-winger" when doing exactly that?
Brody Mitchell
Under Marxism? Yea of course. It's only under capitalism that someone else has and profits off of the fruits of your labor
Carson Nelson
>you see we arbitrarily decide who can have private property Its very different to not having private property you see.
Ian Wood
Marx was a fat, bourgeoisie dickhead looking to lord over the proletariat.
Ryan Watson
I dont see a problem then. I sell or trade my table for food or fuel, fiber or materials. Communism sounds pretty much like capitalism.
Jayden Wright
>jizz moppers. some jobs are their own reward
Juan Carter
Yea that's why people say those societies are "not real communism". Because they were feudalist societies. They grew out of feudalism. The people in them grew up out of feudalism. Most of them supported feudalism and believed in serfdom. And feudalism was essentially the system of government they adopted due to that. "Not real communism"
Caleb Diaz
there's nothing stopping you from starting your own company and owning your own labor, nigger. get off your ass, lazy faggot. accomplish something in life instead of expecting others to feed your worthless ass.
Can I let someone use my private property for a fee?
Jacob Bell
It's the same as capitalism except rich people don't own your shit. That's the entire point of it and that's the thing that scares rich people and makes them want to desperately brainwash you against it.
Brandon Richardson
Based on what he covered above, no. No one owns property ergo anyone can take anything from you.
Christian Watson
>Because they were feudalist societies. ahahaha. such fucking cope. you faggot, that's all communism will ever be. 100 years and you faggots failed to make utopia, but next time it will work!!
How is it cope? Lol. You don't think Russia and China were feudalist before their revolutions? Or are you just a typical right-winger and you don't have any actual concept of history or what happened in those places or why they ended up the way they did, so you just parrot the retarded "COMMUNISM ALWAYS ENDS UP IN THE GOVERNMENT OWNING EVERYTHING" idiocy
Matthew Richardson
>you cant own private property because you didnt build the house yourself >you also cant own the house yourself because that would be private property also
Aiden Rivera
Communism has always been about the abolition of private property, and it's a belief system that predates Marx by centuries. Marx is just admitting that's what it is here. The stipulation of "bourgeoise" is just Marx's bias since he believes that all private property is inherently bourgeoise even if it's owned by a poor serf.
This was the justification Stalin used for murdering so many Ukranians in the Holodomor, sure they were all poor farmers, but they deserve it for being "bourgeoise". Marxism likes to rape terms like bourgeoise (which it did not invent btw) into meaninglessness to promote its quack ideology.
Hunter Martin
People didnt all earn the same in socialist/communist countries. The problem in communism is the bureaucracy. You have lazy ass, closed minded "I dont care" motherfuckers on every position. That is what destroys the country. Noone has a stake in improving anything.
Christopher Perez
Shut the fuck up you dumb commie, if you want communism so bad move to China and get fucked by a tentacle monster.
James Taylor
can I take a portion of my property, build a second house on it, then rent it out?
Justin Ramirez
I don't think anyone is gonna care if you rent out a hammer you made, user. You can't be someone's landlord though. If you think you're being clever and trying to build to some retarded false right-wing equivalence between a hammer and a home I can assure you're not being clever at all. You're actually being really dumb and just unable to have any self-awareness of it whatsoever
Andrew Perez
Then it's poorly written. The single line summary should read "Abolition of private bourgeois property" if that's what he meant to communicate.
