Unironically a conspiracy. OSB houses will fall apart a lot sooner than a brick house or a house made with high quality lumber. The generational wealth will stay in the families for a lot shorter time. Banks and big investment firms forced this meme on the american consruction culture, so that assets will get liuified sooner.
