I had to leave my pod for the weekend. Every interaction with these honkers left me seething. Yesterday I was honked at, honked at, and someone honked me with a honkball. If you walk past a truck wearing a mask, they lay into you with the horn. This was for working in the "honk zone" with a mask on.
The most depressing part was when I stopped in at what used to be me favorite lunch spot, Sneeds Cafe (formerly Chucks). They are extremely pro convoy. No masks on the people in line, the honklers, or even the owner. At first I wondered if they were just buckling to the pressure given how close they are the Hill, but then I overheard the owner (the older Samoan nigger) launch into an anti-onions rant. His brother is a trucker and on his way into the city he said. I left there before buying anything and will never, ever, eat there again.
What's happened is a disgrace. It's a failure on all levels of government. Downtown Ottawa has been abandoned to Honkers and Goose milkers.
Nuremberg trials involved 3 military officers not under each other's command. Rank and time served not relevant. They are otherwise regular military tribunals where the accused is treated as if under their command. With 3 officers, they must unanimously agree on a death sentence. With more, a 2/3 majority is sufficient.
