At the root this is a intra-working class conflict which has been successfully divided over the last few decades and it's all coming to the surface now.
On one side you have hardworking manual and skilled laborers protesting against state oppression and on the other side you have subservient unskilled laborers (service industry and office drones) eager to please daddy state in exchange for basic food, shelter and an occupation. In between you have the elites, the managerial class, who rub their hands in joy when laborer fights laborer.
