CHARGEBACKS - Bad News

I work as a VISA/MasterCard chargeback specialist for a major Canadian bank. I’ve already receive a number of calls this morning requesting chargebacks for the donations to the Trucker Convoy through Gofundme.
According to procedures a client must attempt to resolve the situation with the merchant before a chargeback can be processed. Owing to the fact that GFM has set up a refund form on their website, we cannot currently process chargebacks as the merchant has provided a solution.
You might have better luck with your bank but for the moment it seems like Operation Chargeback is on hold

I say still chargeback.. fuck it

Capital One told me this same thing. What I'm going to do is wait until the 10 business days are up from GFM and if I don't have the entire total back then I'll call Capital One again. I wanted to go through Capital One directly because I thought that people were not getting their full donation back and rather only a portion since GoFundMe took a fee, but if GoFundMe provides the full amount back plus the fee then I will not have to call Capital One.

The merchany already cucked in fear of chargebacks
Theyre refunding all the donations automatically now

Its afraid.

Do it anyway. Banks must bear the cost of dealing with GoFundMe.

btw, you need privacy coins.

The issue with this is that we really can’t even open the file. As much as I’d love to force through some chargebacks we’ll almost assuredly lose them just on the technicality that the merchant had a solution up.
You can’t contest a charge a second time either for a different reason. It’s 1 and done so you gotta get it right the first time in respecting all delays etc

Just get the names and addresses of the merchants responsible if they fail to comply with your chargeback demands

what's stopping you from inputting they didn't that they didn't offer a resolution?

This is a good option if they do not automatically refund

kek you retards keep getting BTFO'd at every turn. It's hillarious.

just dispute the charge. it's cheaper just to grant it rather than tie up cust service people.

Good then it will be to annoy your entire company into possibly not allowing VISA on the gofundme platform since they likes to play games

Common knowledge. The refund form is the solution. If we contact GFM for the dispute they can simply point us to the refund form and all the news surrounding it and it’s basically an automatic loss

My bank did the chargeback no questions asked.

Just resign yourselves that you guillable incels gave nice little donations to BLM and AntiFa!

Look at this seething cope by a larping little faggot cock sucker

Yes for anything like ~40$ Or less It’ll tie up an agent as we usually just assume the loss but that process can’t even start while the refund form is an option

Shills gonna shill.....then get VAIDS and die

>According to procedures a client must attempt to resolve the situation with the merchant before a chargeback can be processed.
the merchant is breaking contracts, do your fucking job

>attempt to resolve the dispute with an entity that has publicly admitted to fraud
lol no. Process the chargebacks, leaf.

Same, was literally just a few clicks.

You guys don’t get how it works.

When you donate you click that little button that says you agree to the terms and conditions. Of course nobody reads them but they are readily available and clearly stipulate that they can basically do whatever the fuck they want in every possible situation as to cover their asses. It’s not fraud and there’s no broken contracts. Turn 18 and get a credit card then come back.

what the fuck is VAIDS? sounds like something you came up with.
