Because the modern left is largely made up of university aged children growing up in a time when the vast majority of tipped inequalities have been vanquished. They're young, they're full of piss and vinegar, and they want to fight a revolution. Issue is that there's no worthwhile revolution to be fought (aside from the removal of jews) so they invent one to target. You can see this in the drastic watering down in the meanings of things like racism, sexism, rape etc. The modern left literally meme their enemies into existence by pretending they exist until a counter-movement eventually forms as a reaction. I'm personally all for it as eventually they're going to meme Hitler 2.0 into existence.

To some extent, yeah - but largely I describe the FORMATION of the modern right. You think the alt-right came about organically? No, it was a reaction to the growing hubris of the SJW movement and its effects on media. You think Trump being voted in was a result of actions of the right? No it was a REaction to the left. The vast majority of the modern right aren't particularly right wing at all, they're just anti-left; shit, the vast majority of the modern right would have been considered centre-left a decade ago. Most right wing people just want to be left alone. What's forcing them into fight is that the modern left simply won't leave ANYONE alone - although a look through history will show that this isn't particularly bound to the 'modern' left.
