Based mushroom thread... once you learn how to grow the magic ones, you can grow pretty much any kind. I've always got blocks of oysters (great for liver, like milk thistle on steroids) and lion's mane (great for nervous system and neuroplasticity) going. and I forage turkey tail... it's so plentiful around here there's no point in even cultivating it.
the PSP/PSK in turkey tail pretty much eliminates viral loads for HPV, influenza, and herpes.. and it probably does the same with corona viruses, but the studies are still being done.

I can see why it's definitely a white person's drug and can be very helpful. It's no meme that you can come to some realizations about yourself and why you do things. I want to do some more reading before taking another dive and slowly working my way up to a heroic dose.

The worst part about government legalizing illicit substances is that your average Joe trusts the government (see the vaccine and mask people) and if the government says that mushrooms and LSD and highly potent marijuana is legal- then they will assume that means it's also safe. That assumption is very dangerous. Even if these drugs are relatively safe, this argument always leads to the legalization of other drugs that are certainly not safe. Now you have a society of people who would otherwise be healthy and they are addicted to things that they can't stop using. Even alcohol has this risk.
Personally I think that most things should be legal to consume but illegal to sell. So if you can grow it yourself or brew it in your kitchen then the government should stay the hell out of your business. If you want to make meth and destroy your brain with it, that's fine, just don't sell it to any school children on your way out.

Your not wrong there. My neighbor does large amounts a few times a week. He has also been on ativan for years, I think because of his constant state of mind altering habits. He is also one of the biggest losers I have ever met. He rents, in his mid 40s, cant keep a job more than 3 months, car is a piece of shit, has a huge funko pop collection, only listens to classic rock, cant keep a girl for more than a week before he pisses them off, and is always asking me for food. I do shrooms maybe 2 times a year and even then its not some eye opening experience. I just end up watching baywatch and cant focus on anything or goto sleep.
