Yeah i understand why this is happening in Canada but all the restrictions in Finland have been meaningless and toothless

It's not covid related. The price of salty licorace and slippers has increased 90% in two months and they are losing their shit.
The other reason for the convoy is gas prices. Its insane how much goverment tax gasoline and diesel.
There's zero reason to trust the state regarding any of this stuff.
Our government has said they're going to continue trying to get the vaccination passport pushed through behind the scenes, not a corona pass but a vaccine pass that no one can evade.
Most likely to lay a base for the inevitable EU digital ID.
Only reason why our restrictions have been so meaningless is because we simply don't have everything under one giant entity that could have fucked everyone over even worse.
Also our constitution held somewhat strong during this, even though eventually we did get the corona passports and those are almost definitely unconstitutional.
But if we had everything under one entity and if our constitutional committee wasn't an issue, we would without a doubt have mandatory vaccinations in place with every restriction imaginable.
Now the state should be held accountable for fucking everything up for the past couple of years.
Not going to happen but still it's good to at least try to shake them up a bit.
Only problem is that people aren't really angry enough to pull this convoy thing off properly here yet.

It's a pipe dream to think that Finns would be switching to electric cars. People can't afford it.
The average age of our cars is among the oldest in Europe, due to people being such massive poorfags here.
