Big question. We are Faustian, so there is a certain amount of independence required. Nothing lasts without a good foundation. This in why the US is in free fall, and at the bottom are the vultures and parasites. You live on the edge of a trustless society.

Find your religion/philosophy, have a group of like minded trustworthy people, and become self sufficient. Then you must be be the role models for others. Trust in God, Fate or the Universe.
