Daycares and schools (primary, highschool and trade schools) should be free. Universities should be affordable for the working class. Women should get paid maternity, workers should gaid paid sick leave and vacation days. Unions are a good idea. The disabled and handicapped should be taken care of by the state so they don't live in misery. The primary goal of the state should be to secure the well-being, prosperity and security of its people. Corrupt officials should be shot and/or hanged. Weed and prostution should be legalized, but controlled like alcohol (The Netherlands comes to mind as a working example). Corporations should be strictly controlled and the tax agencies should be given the resources they need to audit and sanction any person or company not paying it's fair share. Tax the goddamn churches, they're useless leeches making tons of profit and none of it comes back to the people, even though that's what priests should do - help the "flock". I can't think of anything else at the moment.
