most people will claim to hate this when asked in the context of history, but apply it to their everyday modern life and slap a different culture onto it and they're all for it. many will say they "wish it wasn't necessary but desperate times call for desperate measures" or something similar. they are terrified of the idea of a government they disagree with having that kind of power, but perfectly willing to hand it over to a government who tells them what they want to hear.

Most people don't even know what happened in Germany throughout the 1920's and 1930's and almost everyone you might ask would not be able to name Nationalist Socialist policy. A lot of people think that Hitler forced everyone to read Mein Kampf and brainwashed them and took power that way, most people have no idea what his speeches and debates were about and just think that he stole the election. Normies don't have a clue when it comes to Nazis, just that they hated everyone without blonde hair and blue eyes (wrong) and loved killing for no real reason. National socialism is bad because it cannot survive without wars and conflicts with other countries in general. Its based on competition between races rather than their cooperation. It worked when countries were less developed technologically and wars were a less costly thing. But now the world cannot handle another big conflict.
The only reason they lost is because the Allies commited war crimes to win. They essentially genocided half the german population.

Hitler was in a desperate political situation and his hand was forced. The ethnic Germans that were living in Polish borders were being slaughtered and bullied by Poles out of jealousy for Germany's success, Hitler had to do something as German citizens were losing relatives. I wouldn't be surprised though if these slaughters were carried out by agents of the international Jew in order to start a domino effect, as war was the only answer to this issue and Britain would be dragged into it.
