The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, announced this Tuesday, 1st, that he intends to expand the country's Armed Forces by 50%. With this, more than 100 thousand soldiers will be recruited in the next three years. The decision comes in May in the worst security crisis in Europe since 2014, with four fronts on Ukrainian territory under the Russian army's crosshairs.
“The decree was designed to strengthen the state's defense capabilities and increase the attractiveness of military service,” explained Zelensky. “This decree provides for increasing the financial security of all military personnel to a level of not less than three minimum wages.”
Kiev has received military support from the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). On the 24th, the western alliance announced the deployment of planes and ships to Eastern Europe, to counterbalance the concentration of Russian troops on the border with Ukraine. In a statement, NATO said it would continue to take the necessary measures to protect all allies.

The alliance's member countries are also mobilizing to strengthen Ukraine's military might. Spain, for example, has sent warships close to the Ukrainian border and is considering sending fighter planes to Bulgaria. Denmark, meanwhile, plans to send a frigate to the Baltic Sea and deploy four F-16 fighter jets to Lithuania. France also expressed its willingness to send troops to Romania. Meanwhile, the Netherlands will send two F-35 fighter jets to Bulgaria from April to support NATO air surveillance activities in the region. The United States also plans to increase its military presence in Eastern Europe.
I’m beginning to think that Ukraine is just playing the West. They know they will end the conflict with Russia later this year and are beating the pinata to get as much gibs as possible while they can. Putin moved troops as a favor to help them.

looks like ukraine will be very expensive for US-EU to mantain, only solution is that hohols use their military in the dombass, either way the ukraine will be bankrupt by that military, hey just cant mantain it, their arm supplier is the most expensive in the world, if they were allied to russia they could buy weapons half as expensive, but they are not, if they would have an arm industry they could builñd their hardware, but they are not

They've probably already sold half the weapons to the cartels.
