Picrel. I listened to all the news about labor shortages and decided to use that to my advantage. I now have a 147k base salary, living in Philly, with a bonus that should be anywhere from 10k-15k. I am 31, white, and have a nice girlfriend I think I will propose to. She makes 75k. Together we’d be pulling close to quarter million and my mom lives nearby who eagerly awaits a grandchild to watch while we continue our careers. I feel like I have a perfect setup to be a successful guy and live a happy life. What do I have to consider to succeed and not get led down a path of excess and ruin?
What can I do with my new salary as a 31 year old?

Which area is in need of gentrifying?
Ditch the woman.
South Philly. Bought a home in Point Breeze 5 years ago when I was 25 for $167,000 and its now worth over 325k (thinking about selling it, but also would love to profit from gentrification as the area becomes whiter and the hood gets eradicated)
Give it to niggers and keep crying that Whites are oppressed.
Donate money to anti-nigger and anti-jew organizations. Make straw purchases for guns for mentally ill adolescents. So many options really.
Lifestyle inflation is the main way to mess up. You're looking at around $7k / month take home if they are deducting for insurance and retirement.
Try to keep food under $1k a month. Rent a place only as large as what you need.
A common mistake would be to rent a large house and spend $40k this year filling it with crap from Amazon - that locks you into continuing to make as much to afford the space for the crap.
That said building a home gym is a good investment
Put $1k a month into precious metals and crypto
Watch out for feral philly niggers
Buy a very large parcel of empty land.
Ideally, something heavily wooded. This has a double benefit of usually being sold extremely cheap, I bought 150 acres for pennies on the dollar because it was heavily wooded and unimproved.
You can sell the timber that was cut down from clearing it, and get back a significant portion of the purchase price. Combined with the fact that heavily wooded lots are so cheap, you can get it for nearly free.
Build a house on the land.
Two options from this point, sell it for profit since it is now improved land, or keep it as a homestead. I would advise the latter, because given how the prices of real estate is skyrocketing and we have the "Great reset" on the horizon, whatever that may be, the odds of you owning any land in your lifetime are becoming vanishingly slim.
Acquire some inflation resistant assets in addition to the land. Gold, silver, and some crypto.
Give me $314.
Yeah what the fuck bro don't be such a greedy kike
if you still like philly, jump on the downtown gentrification train and start rehabbing properties. set yourself up so you don’t have to work by 45
Just buy a moderately priced 3bd house in a nice area, and then split your income into investments. Live below your means, have a baby, and be happy.
That's sort of lifestyle needs to come back.
Stop bragging on an anonymous image board, incel. Also this isn't political
I don't see any timestamp, date or Any Forums marker so how can I be sure this is you bud.
100 Percent bullshit.
Your biggest no-no at this juncture would be a bad decade of investing. Investing properly can yield geometric returns, but it takes time, and if you fuck it up early it takes far more time. Ten years from now you may be worth $2 million, or you may only be worth. 600k. The difference determines whether 20 years on you have $15 million or only 3.
Invest as much as you can, as early as you can, and don't have any bad years.
Ok, give me $313
Invest and save that money. Don't feel like you have it good. Invest to your maximum limits, watch it compound. You don't need flashy stuff. I give this advice to all 20-30 somethings that break through the six figure ceiling. Being able to retire will cost more than ever by the time you're old enough to really consider it. Congrats on taking advantage of the great labor market that exists for motivated people.

>cant even take a fucking picture of his computer monitor correctly
you are the reason this website is a shadow of its former self. A lazy, needy, unoriginal, non-contributing, leech. you post a garbage thread with a garbage picture on a board that is barely related to it and demand advice. fuck off. put some effort into your thread if you want effort back.
Are you the same user who won't shut the fuck up about living in Philly? No one cares what a city rat like you does.
Verification not required.
escape the city if you want to survive
How’d you use the labor shortage to your advantage?
Honestly just dont do drugs or gamble and you should be ok
>I am 31
>mom lives nearby who eagerly awaits a grandchild
Lel, you fucked up. Should’ve had kids in your twenties. Enjoy being constantly exhausted trying to raise your crotchspawn with incessant lower back pain.
This is what I did. Land will be out of reach for the middle and even upper middle class in the next 30-40 years.
Tons of companies trying to fill career slots and not enough people applying. If you have some experience and even a mediocre resume, there's never been a better time to make a career move and bump your income. Not as easy for NEETs with no experience or education, but still as good as it's ever been. For all the people complaining about the economy, there's ample opportunity to establish a new career out there.
>Congrats on taking advantage of the great labor market that exists for motivated people.
The OP is fake, boomer retard.
>What do I have to consider to succeed and not get led down a path of excess and ruin?
depends on what you do and who you work for, seems like you got the family part down
Remember all the things you learned from Any Forums. The world is full of monsters that will be looking to tear you down for no other reason than because you have it made. Never become complacent, always be on your guard.
I went to temple, um make sure where u live or buy a home is not in shitty philly and keep on it and you will be ok.
Man, these american salaries, even today, with inflation, weak USD and stagnating US local wage growth since the 70's.
I'm still regularly gobsmacked by the wealth of americans. It's absolutely disgusting to be frank.
Here i'm grinding myself to the actual bone, like a soviet kulaknik or an athenian helot, or a literal slave, for pennies and positively ooze wealth wherever you go, even when you're not trying to flaunt it, you cannot help it. And don't even get me started on the (relateively) low US taxation and extremely cheap consumer goods and services. Unbelievable. I hope the new Atlantis sinks.
It will take generations of back breaking labor, to make what you retards casually make in a month of sitting around in an office with a thumb up your arse doing nothing.
>career
This word should be removed from the English language, because frankly there is no such thing. You are a slave doing slave tasks in exchange for resources that you need for sustenance. You’ve confused being a housenigger with being a free man, and it’s pathetic.
Wish I could find them but I guess I chose the wrong thing to try to do in life with IT. Or I just live in an area where no one is hiring.
It’s real. See my new attached image
It’s a meme. Average salary here is ~35k which is borderline poverty tier for most Americans.
