Sounds... LOUD! I lived a year under the departure flight path of Helsinki-Vantaa airport and no, I didn't get used to it. There was always a some kind of a special bird going up which sounded like it was going to pieces at any moment.

SDRs that can pick up HF are more than $10.

I live at the end of a major base runway, they fly all day every day. I still run out and watch planes like a fucking child.
