Back in the day, Finns would come into /skg/ and call us autists. Strange times we be living in.

Apustaja is a Finnish meme, so...

first ru mil plane in EU on radar in a while.
14F125

More traffic in both US and EU airspace than I have seen in weeks.

Anyway, for the newcomers - welcome and get comfy, this is for frens who are a little special.

I couldn't take Sorjonen seriously after an injured character was screaming "APU! APU!"

Ruined the suspension of disbelief. I still could fap to the "Welcome to the Dollhouse" arch, though.

>But anons, I want my own SDR, because my autism has no limitations.
>RTL-SDR dongle is the cheapest, can be had under $10 (but cheap ones come with 8-bit sampling, so they are not that Hi-Fi)
>Antennas are also cheap - if you have space just any wire will do as long as it is not grounded and hanging 10 feet + or more from the ground
>No space! Buy either a mini-whip or a loop antenna with an amplifier, like MLA-30 active loop. ($20-$50)
SDR#, SDR++, SDRUno, CubicSDR, SDRangel etc all are good and FREE software for getting started
>But user I don't have a PC, only a pad or a phone
>App store has SDR apps
>But user I don't want to run my PC 24/7
>SDRs work with Raspberry Pi if you want totally silent receiver being standby for 24/7.

What to the beeps and bloops say about this?

>phys.org/news/2022-01-sars-cov-spike-protein-human-endogenous.html

>"On Tuesday, a real zinger was dropped onto the medRxiv preprint server that could potentially explain many of the commonly observed pathogenic features of SARS-CoV-2. The authors provide solid evidence that the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein activates the envelope (ENV) protein encoded by HERV-W in blood cells, which is in turn directly responsible for many pathological features of the disease."

Sounds... LOUD! I lived a year under the departure flight path of Helsinki-Vantaa airport and no, I didn't get used to it. There was always a some kind of a special bird going up which sounded like it was going to pieces at any moment.

SDRs that can pick up HF are more than $10.

I live at the end of a major base runway, they fly all day every day. I still run out and watch planes like a fucking child.

Attached: lc130h.jpg (320x297, 13.7K)

Yes, true. HF needs a mod for the RTL chipset, because it has 50Mhz lower limitation if my memory serves me correctly. HF SDRs can be had a little under $30 now.

Forgot pic

>Anons, I'm hearing static, you fooled me!
Most of the EAMs and Skyking messages are sent on the hour and half an hour. Signal propagation varies a lot, sometimes we are not able to pick anything at all even when there is a known broadcast happening.

I remember y'all talking about a Ukrainian plane illegally flying over Hungary a day ago. And now I'm seeing Orban meeting with Putin. Are we witnessing the slow dissolution of NATO? Or has Orban just become Putin's bitch?

I think she is real. Chirping heard at 8992kHz. Could be atmospherics.

Attached: 1642978910117.png (680x868, 550.61K)

System won't let me post trains anymore. this fucking sucks

Orban IS Putins bitch. He wants to have same kind of authority in Hungary like Putin.
