Right now Trudeau is scared. They are all scared. If they can't defuse the situation with media and usual shit tactics they will quickly use violence. So once those in power will get uncomfortable enough about the whole situation and start feeling in danger they will ask for cops / army to use violence agaisnt protesters, and use the "judiciary system" in full repression mode. Did you know some yellow vests are still rotting in jail today? They can also use cops to create turmoil / break shops and then declare violence legitimate.
And then when they will see that the people in front aren't really fighting back, they will feel comfortable again, trudeau will stop shittings its pants and increase the repression / violence even more.
with "peaceful revolution attempts" ultimately what will happen is that the movement will be silenced and ended through violent repression. Most prominent protesters will get harmed / murdered / jailed (they literally removed the eye of one top yellow vest, one cop shot him in the head out of nowhere while everyone was peacefully walking).
And then those in power will feel even more emboldened and the only result of these all bark no bite revolution attempts will be an increase in the oppression.
