The fertilizer plant located off North Cherry Street is estimated to contain anywhere from 300-600 tons of ammonium nitrate. Chief Trey Mayo with the WSFD put it in to perspective by comparing it to the fire in west Texas that happened in 2013. That facility there had 240 tons.
