I caved to peer pressure and got a single dose last Summer. I consented alright, but damn was I not informed. If I was actually old, then I would be getting both shots and even boosters, but I'm early 20's. To my age group, the vax is fucking useless and at least as dangerous as the virus.
What makes me sad is the genuine vaccine fascism going on. The specifics of any disease or medicine to treat it is entirely independent of whether the government should have the power to mandate medical procedures upon its citizens.
I don't care about who got vaxxed or not, that's not something I judge people for. I wanna be frens with everyone. It's the authoritarians that I can't bring myself to forgive.
