The main problem with this idea, is that it kind of contradicts the science of geopolitics.
Western Europe is partially controlled by Paris, partially by Berlin. And this is because France/Germany are relatively similar/comparable forces in that area of the continent - similar economically, territorially, militarily, etc. Their competition for control produces such names as Napoleon and Hitler.

For Warsaw to establish its "intermarium" cope dream, it would have to be a comparable/equal opponent to Moscow. And we know this will never happen, because Russia is just too big, is a nuclear power, and has a shit-ton of natural/unnatural capabilities to dominate eastern Europe. Hence, any attempt by Warsaw to establish intermarium will just naturally collapse into an expansion of Russian influence into Europe.

Another geopolitical rule that you might as well put in the Geopolitical Bible is that the countries bordering/being in proximity to Russia will always try to flee the Russian sphere of influence and get under the Western sphere of influence. Look at the current order of things right now. The Anglos left the EU because they’re not going to be a part of a German-led, federal European empire. The economies of Southern Europe are constantly in the shitter because the Euromark and the EU is set up to benefit Germany at the expense of everyone else. Eastern Europe has all been economically colonized by Germany and watched as Germany works with Russia against their interests.

As soon as an anti-German-France alliance candidate wins in France, Germany is all alone in Europe. Then it’ll reach out to, as it traditionally does, Russia.
