Pros/Cons of small towns?

What are the best and worst parts of living in a small town?

>wave to your neighbors as you drive by
even if it's just the lift-fingers kind of wave, it's the thought that counts

Well I have no worries about being robbed except by bears stealing bird feeders

>The Christmas Shoppe
>The Pickle Place
Based and wholesome

It's quiet and peaceful, but there aren't many opportunities. It's good for retired people, but not for young people. That's about it.

>Opportunities
Turn on computer. Go into the world wide web. Make money

-: You'll probably be bored shitless
+: Way less stress

There are 5 blue jays eating peanuts and a white breasted nuthatch waiting for an opening.

There's literally no downs, except maybe high paying job availability

+ No Niggers
- Methemphetemine

>con
Not waving to other motorists will end with the entire town outside with pitchforks and torches

Pro's
>A lot of meth
Cons
>Also a lot of meth

everybody gets in each others business...no privacy, unless you live secluded on hundreds of acres and dont venture into town

For me, its fentanyl

>everybody gets in each others business...no privacy
This, lack of job opportunities and things to do are really the main downsides.

That's the retirement plan. I just want a gate to close behind me. I'll go into town for supplies when I need them.

Used to live in a small town north of Newcastle with a pop of natural beauty
>generally stress free
>cheaper housing

Cons:
>not good for single young people
>population is dumb as fuck
>nothing to do beyond the beach
>swaths of tourists during the summer
>no opportunity for jobs outside of trades, small business almost always go under after the first year due to no local support
>far from hospitals
>no public transport or very poor public transport

Only for the retired

>best
cheap house
>worst
nothing there

tourist town. Too high-maintenance for local folk only.

>the nice walkable part of town where all the local shops are
>but most of the shops went out of business years ago
>nobody actually walking there, just boomers driving their new pickup trucks around town

Biggest pro is that they're usually walkable without having noggers

easy to be the nicest guy in town

easy to be the most dangerous guy in town

People who are bored are fucking morons in general and there are at least as many of them in the cities as there are in towns.

I love my town we have a hardware store, a grocery store (both independent not chains) and rite aid and dollar general. A few restaurants, lots of mechanics... It's everything you need. Usually still drive 30 minutes to the city to go to Walmart, home depot, etc because they're much cheaper and have more stuff but if I don't feel like a long drive it's just 5 minutes into the town center.

One nice thing is Amazon stopped delivering here themselves, idk why but now everything comes UPS or USPS so it's not some nigger in a sedan blasting rap music, just nice professional boomer UPS driver who asked me how I was finding so much ammo to buy online and I told him about ammoseek.
