Slavs are really different

Retarded Any Forums-cels tell me that the Slavs are the closest ethno-cultural group among themselves. But in fact, it is very difficult to imagine what Nordic Czech, Mediterranean Serb, Middle Eastern Bulgarian and Mongoloid Russian can have in common.
Can the Slavs themselves explain their situation to me? Is there really any "closeness" between you? Cause from the outside it seems that the Slavs are the most diverse group of Europeans, much more distant among themselves than the Latins or the Germs.

It's stormfag meme. Everything east of France is EBIN PRVSSIA and everyone who ever did something good or made a discovery is PRVSSIAN. Because of that, everyone that is not an EBIN PRVSSIAN is a Mongol barbarian. In reality Poles and Czechs are as simmilar as French and Spaniards, and before the whole communism bullshit no one cared for "west" or "east" Europe.

People are retards that tend to jump into absolutes and dichotomies. It's either "Slavs are a linguistic group" or "Slavs are literally all the same ethnically". In reality Slavs were at some point in history a genetically homogenous ethnolinguistic group but they expanded so much and integrated so many other peoples while still remaining culturally Slavic that it muddied the waters a lot so peoples like Serbs or Bulgarians are still technically Slavs but not really genetically, only culturally. What I'm saying the word "Slav" can refer to more than one thing, that is to the linguistic/cultural group which indeed includes all peoples you'd call a 'Slav' nowadays, but it can also be an ethnic demarcation. But which Slavs are the real ethnic Slavs then, you may ask, and let me answer you. Northern ones, basically. Ethnic Russians, Belarusians and Poles are very close genetically. Ukrainians too, I guess, at least the ones that aren't the assimilated Tatars. Now then Czechs aren't really that far off either despite them liking to LARP as Germans. Slovaks are pretty pure Slavs as well. Surprisingly Hungarians are genetically very Slavic despite being the one place where Slavs lost culturally/linguistically. Slovenia is very close to ethnic Slavs as well, Croatia less so but still majority Slavic and that's about it. Any other Slavs in the Balkans are more indigenous Balkanites than Slavs, though still Slavs culturally and so our brothers though I wouldn't let them immigrate here en masse, for example. For instance croats and Slovenes are almost identical to poles
Russians are the most blue eyed Slavs (more than Germans) so them being Mongol makes no sense lmao
