Seems like the weather is dog shit. Mountains seem cool, but if you've been to Denver you'd know it's absolute trash city with trash stoner food. They just rely on scenery to bring people in.

Oc related, there was a major fire at one of the homeless camps at the I-90 interchange. To give you a perspective this is right where I-5 and I-90 link up which is just south of downtown.
There are camps everywhere. Graffiti is everywhere and its gotten so bad it looks like LA (which was not the case when I was growing up), trash is everywhere, druggies are everywhere.

Washington user, I live an hour north of Seattle. Seattle is a complete shithole. The police have no interest in stopping crime, only taking a report. My office building in Seattle was high up, we called the cops when we saw guys breaking into the cars in the parking garage. Police said they'd be by later to take a report. The area isn't bad if you can get out of the downtown area, but Seattle itself is a shithole full of homeless panhandling and drugs and shitheads.

The western part of the state is some of the most beautiful countryside this side of Gods creation. Hell even the view of the olympic mountains from Seattle is a sight to behold.

The areas east of Lake Washington used to solidly vote for the right but thats changed within the last 10 years. It is funny to see these neoghborhoods full of 70s era trash homes go for 800-900k and then they have an encampment of vagrant addicts pop up. The city os prettt much trashed. Out of King county...into the cascade foothills and things are beautiful. One of my favorite things in the world is driving to some out of the way trailhead and heading into the wild- just me, my dog, an assortment of knives, and a rifle. Sometimes I feel like I never go back to theb"real" world. WA is nice, the city is fucked though.
