He'd said to me that he, like plenty of other doctors, had voted for Costa rather than for Rui Rio (of the PSD), to keep their benefits (as workers of the State); Rui Rio would push for a more privatised healthcare and that would spoil their benefits.

It's a breakthrough case of a pure right-wing conservative party gaining a substantial number of seats in a European state's assembly.
