I remember smoking weed with friends in Seattle years ago and I passed the joint to my buddy Bruce who was a heroin addict. He said it was a strong drug. He was right. It is a strong drug. And it's true that just about every weed smoker I know cannot quit smoking it -- they're drug addicts.

Iv quit last week, it was a fucking black hole on my life. When i smoke daily all im able to do is watching porn and binge eating, fuck that. I love weed but i prefer to live my life.

Former weed smoker here, I still smoke, but I used to, too.

Every pothead I meet is in denial. It's nothing but excuses and justifications from them. They're usually lazy, unmotivated and unreliable too. Not all, but most. But some people are just better at functioning with an addiction.

I'm an 'ex weed smoker', I know others too. You just don't hear about it since quitting is not a big deal, it's like moving on from a phase you were in.

I smoked a good 9 years.
Last year had two 3 month breaks.
Just recently started another break. I get a lot more done but am a lot less content with my life.

literally just got out of goyim treatment to quit weed. out of 14 people there were two of us. I’m ganja free man & my brain fog is gone.

I unironically stopped smoking weed.
Not sure why really.
My girlfriend is selling it and would sometimes try to pay rent with it when I prefer cash, I didn't like her having that over me. Can't pay my mortgage with dope.
Everyone I know is a fucking loser and they all smoke, so I'm disenfranchised because of that. It also stopped doing anything for me. Smoking it was just part of my routine and struggling to get a hit out of my seemingly perpetually clogged bong became too much of a bother with 0 payoff. I was convinced whatever 'high' I got was just from me choking on resin.
