Am I destined to be a fat blob?

This might be political, here it goes
>be me, fat and lazy
>want to change, both body, soul, and mind. Especially politically
>read some /sig/ archive
>from the readings, I have 4 points to improve
>change mentally, financially, physically, and spiritually
>mentally: sleeps early, stop / reduce porn, stop self destruct in social activity
>done, I have changed from deranged mentally to barely sane
>it's something
>financially: I seems can't find a better job, because too much time for university
>instead I start to cook.
>wallet suddenly thickens in 1 months
>spiritually: pray more, pray before and after bed, church, reading bible
>sounds the easiest but actually the hardest, i don't know why
>not done yet, but progress, which is nice
>physically: starts walking more, push ups, and squats at least 10 a day
>beginning to see muscle development, but fat still there
>decide to browse Any Forums
>literally the first time lurking on Any Forums
>greeted by 2 pages of nikocado avocado's loose bacteria invested asshole
>wtf
>decide to go back to Any Forums
>tried again the next day
>niko again, but this time it's a gif, and he's being fucked by mexico's muchacos i think
Why? and is there any political explanation to this?

1 bullet can change everything, Fat Faggot.

of course the american answered with something related to gun and suicide. Christ, i hope your country survive this decade

literally eat less or if you really need Any Forums ti handhold you, read the Any Forums sticky. theres so little good advice there regarding fitness that there is no point lurking. maybe try /qtddtot/ if you have questions but it all boils down to eating less and moving more.

i tried lad. Eating less destroys my mind. Not to brag but i'm on magistrate program in ITB, literally the best engineering school in Indonesia. But, the "best" means very heavy toll on times, to do research, campus study, ect. I can feel my sanity dwindling the moment I eat less, or eat something not delicious for that matter

You sound like a fat faggot
I bet if I tried to sell you a cake called fat faggot treat you would still buy it

NO ADDED SUGAR
NO GRAINS
NO FUCKING VEGETABLE OIL EVER

youtube.com/watch?v=7kGnfXXIKZM

Keep your carbs under 30g a day. Meat, fish, eggs, cheese, veggies(do some research here) and a few nuts(watch the carbs).

Acceptable fats: All animal fats, coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil(if you know what you're actually buying lots of shit on the market)

Eat once a day or within a limited 4-6hr window.

Water, tea and coffee only.

Pick up heavy things.

Finally, some real advice. Thank you, spacing fren

I don't know, man. Your joke sounds like it came from a 12 years old jewish kid

Oh yea right, i forgot to ask. Is pasta ok?

Aww user I feel for you. You're either stress eating to make up for your stressful studies or to fill a social void since we associate good food with good company.

Something that might help is to eat one very large meal once a day. It will feel like a binge but be your daily caloric intake, and it will give you a little thing to look forward to every day.

You sound very smart and sweet and motivated. Good luck ^^.

>Is pasta ok?
NO GRAINS If you want a pasta analogue try spaghetti squash. for a rice analogue try riced cauliflower.

onceuponachef.com/recipes/cauliflower-fried-rice.html#tabbox OMIT THE SUGAR

the commie is ironically the nicest here kek. Thank you fren, i take your advice

Work out more.

allright

If you want to lose body fat you need to achieve a caloric deficit in your diet. This can be done by eating less and/or using more calories. You don't need to be eating a lot less, just consistently less. If you're on more than a 500 calorie deficit you're going to have a bad time. Track your progress not with just scale weight, which doesn't tell you your body composition, but with body fat calipers, a tailor's measuring tape, and a scale to get the best idea of what's going on.
>or eat something not delicious for that matter
Sounds like a psychological addiction more than a physiological need, friendo, might want to do some work on that one.

>Sounds like a psychological addiction more than a physiological need, friendo, might want to do some work on that one.
probably due to stress from univ and working. ty for the advice fren

>probably due to stress
Replace stress eating with cardio; eat something nutritious after your run if you're actually hungry. Cardio reduces stress short term and long term whereas stress eating reduces stress short term but increases it long term. Mental health follows physical health, as has been written about by physicians from ancients like Hippocrates to modern experts like Dr. John Ratey.

Also, stay hydrated. Hydration is important in its own right but some people also confuse dehydration with sugar cravings. I used to carry around a 2L water bottle in school and hold myself accountable to drinking the whole thing at least once per day.

You can work out between classes by running during the time you would otherwise be walking and doing bodyweight exercises once you show up early. You can work out during class (on on the bus, if you don't live on campus) by doing isometric exercises, such as holding a static squat above your seat for as long as you can without distracting yourself from the class material (just a few seconds is fine to start, you'll get better at it). or trying variants of pic related that can be done while seated without disrupting your classmates.

user, if you want to improve your looks by lowering your fat, you gotta have a strong willpower, especially if you also study at the same time or work. All the studying and or working is going to demand a lot of energy. That said, on paper it really is as simple as calories in and calories out. Also time. A lot of time. Patience and willpower too. There are no tricks how to go about it. You need to set a goal and smaller goals along the way then stick to it. But remember that this is a way of life. If you can't live like this for years to come, don't even bother and just focus on sharpening your mind and landing a decent office job.

If you're still interested in fat loss, I'll give you some advice.

1. Your body needs energy to exist. You get energy primarily through breathing and you need to keep breathing else you die. Everything else is food, most of which is excess energy with little nutritional value, like eating a 1kg bag of sugar. You get no vitamins, no fatty acids, no minerals, no nothing. Just a burst of energy that your body can't 100% use and that will start converting into fat. So this means that there are food tiers and food quality.
2. By knowing the above you can create some kind of flowchart or spreadsheet of foods and which you like, which you don't like, which you could regularly eat, how healthy or unhealthy they are, their cost, their nutrition and caloric content, etc... Essentially, create your own personal plan to see what's the most viable for you. Then find out what kind of calorie deficit you need to enforce while also maintaining your sanity at the same time and for how long in order to see progress. Remember that eventually you'll hit a wall and that deficit will have to increase because by losing additional fat or even muscle, your body's basic maintenance requirements will get lower.

3. Working out. By building muscle (just lifting heavy shit in essence) you're creating more mass that's hungry for food. One of the reasons why bulking up and then cutting is a thing and why it's so effective. First, you eat like a pig until you're always stuffed, always full and at the same time you do heavy intensity workouts, burning a lot of that energy but also incentivizing your body to not only store fat, but also build muscle. After you've built sufficient muscle you reduce your workouts to light or medium only while starting a fast or simply dieting and heavily restricting your calorie intake. By still eating protein dense, mineral and vitamin rich foods, you feed your muscles and you also maintain them by producing a type of inhibitor hormone (just google what it's called, I forgot) that gets created when you work out and signals your body NOT to cannibalize your muscles and go for fat instead when on a low calorie diet or when fasting.

And that's about it. It doesn't matter what you work out, as long as it's heavy lifting to incentivize muscle growth. Buy your own weights if you can't be bothered going to the gym. Or don't work out at all if you just want to lose your current body fat and start intermittent fasting along with a diet with a calorie deficit but also very nutritious in terms of vitamins and minerals. Typically that would be a high protein and fat diet with no sugars. Eggs, spinach, meats, nuts, cheeses, etc...

But again, willpower is the most important. If you give up it's all over. Good luck.
