For starters, let's get the location of the photo. I've never been to Ottawa, but it's clear that we're looking at some sort of urban park with two wooden benches near a path with black railing. Can anyone identify the buildings in the background? If this turns out be somewhat out of the way from where the truckers are protesting, then this discredits the media narrative that these guys had anything to do with the main protest.
As far as our feds, we're looking at five men dressed in black, two of them with grey hoods and all of them appearing to be wearing black toques. Are there any early mentions of these guys from before or around the time this photo was published? Any other photographs from alternate angles? Who is the photographer of the one photo we have and what is their relation to our feds? Also, is there anything with the flags that can help us identify them?

This photo is from exactly where they're standing in front of the benches...there's no upper elevation behind them, that's why we can't figure out what the buildings behind them are. All the buildings behind this view would be castle rooftop Parliament shit, and they would be even or lower in height with them.
So we gotta find that building with the flag. It looks more like a downtown core building, because those are more modern looking with more boring architecture and rooftops like that.

All the buildings you would see from that spot have old castle architecture rooftops, that looks more like a downtown building which is probably closer to their drop-off point >Gatineau is across the bridge, the green line coming from the left shows the path 99% of people walked to get to the party area >Byward Market is the bar district and the green lines going into Major Hill's Park show the path 99% of people take to get to the party area >Rideau Center Mall is the mall, it's dope >Elgin Street is where a lot of people come up to the party area from >Truck Photo is where the truck photo was taken, so they likely followed one of the two green paths if they DID go to parlaiment Odds are the photo shoot took place somewhere around the Truck Photo...the buildings in that area are more modern like the one in the background. The areas around Ottawa City Hall and Confederation Park have varied elevation to them and there could be benches in those areas as they're big parks. Maybe the art museum etc, that whole area is kind of a valley.
Try using Google 3d Globe view (in the bottom left settings for the map view) and look for the building rooftop shapes and the elevation differences

The buildings in Ottawa near Parliament and in the Byward Market are all some of the first buildings built in Canada so they have old castle gothic architecture, specifically rooftops. The modern flat sides and flat roofs tend to be more toward the Downtown area, which is near where the truck drop-off point is, so somewhere in that area is probably a better bet than wasting anymore time on Major Hill's Park

I never said the honk fest will have a happy ending or that I believe it will make a significant change. I really don't know how the motherfuckers will react.
