voca.ro/12e10QaeDX3f Also yes, I know about the vocal fry, I'm just talking very low at the moment. This sounds really good and you've got a lot of personality in your voice, I'm sure if you used it more often you'd get the hang of it and it'd sound more natural. The only thing I can point out is you voice sounds really strained, like you need a glass of water. It does sound pretty forced, but its on the right track with not sounding very falsetto-y.
Girlie. do NOT think about doing 100 different individual muscular tasks when you voice train. You sound like you are thinking so hard to talk at all. It should just be a feeling and sound to you that you remember and can return to. Should be just about effortless as doing a funny accent and easier as it becomes your norm. As for how to improve tone, you have a hollow quality. This means your pitch is relatively high and your vocal weight is soft, but your resonance is still too low. It might be fun to take a break from the big brain "100 different muscular control panels at once" method and just trying mimicry. Can be mimicking cartoon characters or women that you like. Even guys! The point isn't to nail them 100% first try, but to explore different sounds and sensations using them as targets. Good luck! The fact that youre doing too much work rn proves youll make it! Just keep it up!

I think your voice (vocal fry aside) has a heavy quality to it. This can be reduced by reducing your vocal fold mass and false fold abduction. There are videos with exercises for those, but in practical terms: make it more airy! Your resonance and pitch are good tho!

Cute voice! Sounds like a low woman to me.

voca.ro/1kaS2y2IK58t i am so fucked holy shit. When I hear myself when I speak, I don't like it but I feel like it sounds fem enough, but when I hear my recorded voice, my ears start to bleed i think you sound good, but i heard so many trans women voices that i would clock/suspect you instantly breathy and forced, sounds unnatural, also very quiet same as you are speaking low and I think you can raise resonance higher to make it sound more fem i think you need to improve resonance and pitch
is voice training to get a faggier voice as a cis gay retarded or not?
Brody Anderson
no, go for it
Michael Mitchell
any tips?
Christian Hall
no, not really try to voice train the same methods trans women do, just stop at certain point and cultivate lower, more masc voice. also you can try to listen to podcast with women and try to imitate their pattern of speech, it will come out as "gay" with a masc voice
not perfect, but it is actually pretty decent. you almost sound cis. Not sure what you should work on to make it better, sorry. i understand the gross part tho, not because I think your voice is gross, but because I feel the same way about my own :(
How much do you voice train?
Brody Jones
>voca.ro/1dbqd6hTPSB9 It's very nasal. There's something about the end of the sentences that have a heavier/downwards lilt that reads (hears?) as male
Thomas Morris
by how much I mean not the overall timeline, you said it was 16 months but your daily schedule and what exercises you do?
Lincoln Morales
>not perfect, kms >How much do you voice train? i dont really anymore. i just try to use it every day but i never use my voice beyond making small recordings like that desu i think its horrible and so i wont use it KMS
