almost named myself Arete, kinda wish i did, but im too far gone now

That's not a real name

All names are made up.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arete
its meaningful

i almost ended up on the lucy train im glad i got off in time

I wonder how many people on this board are named Lilith

>Lilith
as a kid and a teen i had a near obsession with the name
i can't imagine anyone seriously wanting to name themselves that though (even though i secretly do wish for it)

it's an extremely stereotypical trans girl name

Why dont you people ever pick names from your ethnic cultures instead of this retarded neo-british americana style meaningless names? Every brown person i know KNOWS the meaning of their name

Im not brown retard

ever consider my ethnic culture literally is neo-british americana?

Still consider renaming myself Alice as I’m insane

it sounds too cringe and edgy at least alice is at least somewhat normal of a name
i'd just go by lily if that were my name

not everyone on /tttt/ is nonwhite you know?

it's fine as long as you pass.
if you don't pass you'll be a walking stereotype.

My parents were going to name me Vanessa and had my room painted pink before i was born

arete is greek or osmething, shes probably a phi major

>literally called myself Zoe

In my defence, it was the name my parents would have given me if I'd been a girl. It also shortens down nicely to Zo if I ever detransition into an amorphous non-binary blob.

Zoe is stereotypical but at least a fairly normal and common name so it's not that bad

Is that the name you went with? I lkinda like "Ness" as a mickname

I honestly had no idea it was such a stereotype. It probably would have affected my decision if I'd known. Regardless, I think it suits me.
