Does allying with reactionaries who resist trans people not in spite of, but explicitly because of their regressive and misogynistic perspectives on sex not give you pause? To her a gender nonconfoming cis person is not a more honest alternative to transitioning because they come from the exact same deviance in society. Gender non conformity and women's liberation are the core issues in this worldview, they disrupt the gender paradigm, transness is just the latest and most extreme iteration of it. This isnt something you can ever actually ally on because to her feminism caused the trannies to exist. I assume thats some of what you mean by "strange bedfellows" but I'd like to know more about these feelings.

Christian nationalists just undid federal protections for abortion. They've compromised the bodily autonomy of tens of millions of women, opened any woman in many states up to potential criminal investigation if she receives an abortion or miscarries, and (as we see consistently in nations where abortion is illegal) women (poor women especially) will die as a consequence of these laws.
