I'm afraid you'll need to be able to:
>Downpick 8ths consistently at at least 240bpm.
>You'll need good vibrato, thumb over the neck not under.
>You need to know at least enough theory and have a good enough ear that no one needs to baby you through parts.
>Good timing is a must. You must be able to bury the click.
>I would prefer if you didn't use too many alternate tunings but we can make things work.
>You have to have a non dogmatic understanding of technique as a whole and a problem solving approach to your practice. If you can't play the parts right away I expect it to take no more than 1 rehearsal for you to get it down.
>Some sort of stage presence is a plus.
>Would prefer someone who doesn't have to rely on economy picking for runs, but can implement it if the part calls for it.
