So in this pic related we can see that A and B are gender fermions and j and k are gender bosons. In this diagram two people are interacting and exchanging gender bosons with one another. They come together from wave-like and then when interacting the appearance of particle-like gender is produced.

At the risk of oversimplifying: the two halves of the brain WILL try sending signals back and forth to find out where and how and why there are differences between the two. It's also how you can autopilot through tasks as if you were thinking about something else, one half of the brain can take over and run wild while the other half of the brain sits back and monitors itself without sending output. You notice the noise, you notice the disconnect, but you don't perceive the parts where the two halves of the brain line up perfectly as anything but mono-tone brainwaves.
This is why the cognitive abilities of the recipients of radical hemispherectomies are so fascinating. Some can go on to be expert linguists despite having literally half a brain missing, and it's why my classmate was a savant-mathematician because you don't need the back half of the brain connected together in order to do math, only the front half. Would such a model suggest that gender is inherently ingrained into our psyche/brain from birth? This part is supposed to explain why.
When you are interacting with someone, something strange happens the two halves of the brain seem to attempt to try to segregate tasks between looking at the other person, to judge intent, and looking at yourself, to produce intent. As a result, when you are actually WITH someone your brain isn't second-guessing yourself, instead it's simply assuming the other person is for you and you are for them and the illusion that you really understand someone is produced as if you understood their intentions including how they intend to present themselves
But then when you walk away? the illusion is broken and you're back to doubting yourself. The red parts are the parts where the gender fermion is wave-like between instances where it is collapsed. The pink parts represent the gender-quantum-information that is sent off into the system
This is why well-communicable gender identities are so important and why pronouns need to be reduced to digits. 0 1 2 3 or it they she he.
