LGBT haircut

My hair is naturally curly and I have been growing it out to make it look like a wolfcut.
Should I just be straightening or go to a hairdress?
Or it's not possible because they're curly? If so what are other alternatives?

don’t straighten. curly hair is beautiful. it IS expensive to upkeep however. do some research and invest in some good curl specific shampoo and conditioner, buy other curl products, and definitely go to a woman’s salon - they’re better for taking care of curly hair like that (if you’re a boymoder just use that as an excuse). my bf has curly hair and he maintains it rlly well so i can give more specific advice if necessary

So I shouldn't aim for this?
What I do after using regular shampoo and conditioner (not curl specific) is comb my hair so they get untangled and then use some keratin mousse thing to make them not that fluffy.
I think they need to grow out a little more but I have been letting the front hair grow a lot so maybe I'll have to cut them even more.

It's true I went to a men's salon a year ago and they fucked me up

get proper shampoo and conditioner. make sure you aren’t using it regularly - i personally don’t know the intervals but it’s easy to look up. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BRUSH OUT YOUR CURLS. you’re killing them that way. it’s why your hair is so frizzy and looks like a dust bunny. you don’t have straight hair, and doing that is ruining it. make sure you plop instead when u get out of the shower, it’ll detangle them and make sure they retain their curl pattern. ik this sounds like a lot but your hair will look 200x better. my recommendation is cool off on the shampoo, start doing plopping and curly hair specific hair care, then when your curls are approaching their more natural look go to the salon and have them help you out

basically avoid anything with sulfates, and try to add essential oils to your hair when it's damp
curly hair is a bitch to care for, but it is literally sex hair. Don't listen to jealous hons and dweebs that never leave the house, most people love curly hair and it is seen as very fem

once you get better product your hair will heal. if you’ve been heat treating it too you might just need to cut a lot of it off :/ it’s always so sad to me when people who clearly would have beautiful curls don’t know and destroy them by accident, but you’ll be ok user
