I think its a zoomer thing. When I was young I assumed interracial fetishes were for boomers who came of age during times of extreme racism so there was the "taboo" factor.
For zoomers it's a combination of coming of age online and also like the resurgence of white identitarianism brought the "taboo" aspect back.
